Description
Fred first saw service with the Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry in which he was awarded the Territorial Army Rifle Association Medal for the Lord Lieutenant Challenge Shield 1928 for 2nd in shooting match.
His war service starts when he lands in France 22.5.1915 believed to be with ‘D’ squadron to the 14th division which was later reformed and explains why he was transferred to the Royal Engineers. Sold with his autograph book which had various quotes from friends.
A scarce group and shooting medal worthy of further research. Mounted as worn.
