Born in Staveley Westmoreland and enlisted age 34 in 1916. Lived in Kirkdale, Liverpool trade a saw sharpener. Later A.S.C., L?445878, married Staveley church 17.2.1906. Served from 17.11.1916 in Salonica until 1917. His father-in-law was Edward Bragg of Thirkdale. Discharged 25.4.1919.
The medals purchased as two separate items in Kirby Stephen in 2021.
