Description

Captain Bernard Hope Harrison M.C. 1st Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers. In an earlier stage of the war he was 3209 L. Cpl, B. H. Harrison , Duke of Lancasters Own Yeomanry and according to The Army Service Numbers website he would have enlisted between 10.2.1913 and 25.2.1914. 

 According to an entry in the WW1 medal roll he was commissioned into the 1st Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers 10.10.15.

The entry for him in the 1920 “Services of Officers” shows him a having served with the 10th Liverpool Regiment. (No actual dates mentioned though).

M.C. L.G. 1.1.1918. Captain Harrison is confirmed as serving with the Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry.

He served on the Gallipoli Peninsula with the Royal Munster Fusiliers and was wounded due to exposure when the Regiment was in the Front Line against the Turks.
