Issued a Mons clasp to the 1914 star. L.G. 20.10.1917 2nd Lieutenant W.G. Grant is seconded for duty as Asst. Instr. Bomb and Trench Mortar school 26th July 1917. L.G. 8.101918 he is restored to the Estabt. 30.3.1918.
Resigns his commission 29.4.1920 retaining the rank of Lieutenant
