‘For Gallant and distinguished service rendered in connection with the emergency operations in Palestine during the period 15th April to 14th September 1936.
Tuesday 7th July 1936, Fus. Hill, was slightly wounded in an engagement near Ramleh Hill, where a military patrol was fired on. The patrol was guarding some quarries near the Petach Tickvah colony, outside Tel Aviv.
