Henry Gardiner Milner lived at 36 Dundonald, Dundee and enlisted 22.6.1916, age 24 years 40 days. He had qualified as a Regimental Bomber 19.8.1917. Served in France from 12.1.1916 to 25.4.1917.

He as wounded in action 10.4.1917 and 11.11.1917 spending 52 days in hospital having suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and head. 23.11.1917 Edinburgh War Hospital 43 days. Wounded (Gas) 20.5.1918 and died of influenza 13.11. 1918.  He is buried in St Sever, Cemetery Extension, Rouen.
