Description

John Walters was born at St.Dunstan’s near Canterbury, he had previously been a Pastry Cook prior to his military service. He enlisted under age into the 45th Foot on the 28th of July 1838 and was discharged in the rank of Sergeant on the 31st January 1859. His LS&GC was sent to the G.O.C. Cape in 1865.
