Description
William served with the 81st during the operations of the Sittawa Field Force under Major General N.B. Chamberland against the Bozdars 204 men of the 81st were present.
The roll shows he transferred to the Bengal Artillery as Gunner W. Jackson alias Walsh and took part in the Indian Mutiny were listed as died 16.6.1858.
