Please not the initial on the medal is ‘I’ not ‘J’ as it should be. Formed part of the Central India Field Force which was disbanded after the battle of Gwalior. Served in the Field Force at Jhansi, Galpee and Gwalior with the Rajputana Field Force and were involved in the battle of Banda 19.4.1855.
