Thomas Cadwallader was born in Wolverhampton, enlisted underage in Hussars 1898, discharged as being under age 1898. Enlisted in 3rd Dragoons 1.6.1900, served South Africa to 16.1.1903, purchased his discharge 11.12.1903, re-enlisted in 17th Lancers Feb 1907 as 6250 but changed his name to Cook, landed France 6.10.1914, Killed in Action 13th May 1915 and with no known grave is commemorated on the Menin Gate. Also entitled to a 1914 Star trio.
