Killed in action at Paardeberg 18.2.1900. Sold with details of the action. He served in India at the Relief of Chitral and received medal and clasp along with the Q.S.A. with clasp Cape Colony and Paardeberg. Awarded the Khedive Sudan medal with clasps Atbarra and Khartoum.
