Born Newington, London and the enlistment date not found but he was discharged 20.9.1914 having served 21 years, 256 days.

Re-enlisted Essex Regiment and Labour Corps 25.10.1914. Discharged 4.3.1919 Labour Corps, Nottingham.

Clasps all confirmed on the roll as permanent staff. I can see a good research program.
