Description
He attested for the Seaforth Highlanders and served with the 1st Battalion during the Nile Expedition. He was mortally wounded by a bullet to the chest at the Battle of Omdurman on 2 September 1898 and subsequently died from his wounds. The Regiment suffered 1 man killed, 1 mortally wounded (Mullin), and 16 wounded in the Battle.
